 about

After early years of dance training, I studied modern languages at university and then trained as an actor. After ten years’ experience of working as an actor I brought together my love of movement and dance and my experience as a performer and completed an MA in Movement Studies at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. Since graduating in 2011 I have worked as a movement director and choreographer in theatre and opera.

I’ve devised and led tailored movement workshops for actors and singers in a range of programmes from outreach, academic, pre-professional to professional level in the UK and abroad, including at Shakespeare’s Globe, the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, Welsh National Opera, Scottish Opera and the Royal College of Music.

As an actor, I’ve worked in film and on television in regular series such as Silent Witness, Poirot and Grantchester; and in theatres including at the RSC (Noughts & Crosses), Birmingham Rep (The Diary of Anne Frank, Peter Pan), on national tours (The Diary of Anne Frank, Our Country’s Good), in the West End (Miss Julie, The Audience) and at Manchester Royal Exchange, where I was nominated for the TMA award for ‘Best Performance in a Play’ for J.M. Barrie’s What Every Woman Knows.
